Background

Professor Bell joined the University of Queensland in 2001 following previous appointments at the University of Adelaide and in the Australian Government sector.

Research Interests

Professor Bell is a demographer and population geographer with interests in population mobility and internal migration, demographic projections and forecasts, regional and local population change and population models and methods of analysis.
